I'm a manager at sheetz ( for those not familiar its a convenience store and made too order fast food) I am constantly running around. My bosses said i could basically do light duty no lifting and stuff til i heal but our schedule is 3 weeks out so i pretty much have those 3 days and that's it. Not sure what I'm gonna do if I'm not good by then :/

Depending on how physically active you need to be at your job, you may need more time off than 3 days. If it's a desk job and you are able to sit down all day, a week should be more than enough time. I work at a busy grocery store so I'm constantly on the move. I would need a lot more time than 3 days to be able to do my job properly. My sister is a nanny constantly playing with and picking up 3 little kids. She had a lap and had to take 2 weeks off and she wasn't at full function again for 4 weeks. And her abs hurt for a few months after her surgery. Like Johanna said, everyone's recovery time is different.
