I've had 2 laps, my 1st recovery was relatively short less than a month till i was feeling pretty much normal again and wearing my normal clothes. My 2nd op took me 4 months to get back into the jeans (comfortably) I wore to the hospital on surgery day due to swelling and discomfort.
But took approx 6-8 wks to be back doing my full day to day activities. Though the surgeries themselves while both for stage4 endo excision and organ adhesions were different with my 2nd being more complex and additional sub procedures/studies probably explains the difference. I lot of people talk about shouldertip pain from excess air working its way out I had maybe 5 minutes total for both recoveries. Gentle regular movements and short ( i mean to the end of the hall wau short) walks aides in recovery. A good piece of advice from my doctor... No being the driver until you feel like your abdomen can handle a slam on the brakes scenario. (Driving seems like simple task you will notice you are restricted post op even as a passenger), just take it easy, you know you're body. And if you feel like something is straining or feels a little to much stop and rest or ask for help.

I have had two laps now. Recovery time varied on each one. So many people are different, some woman have said they went back to work after like 2 weeks. For me it took around a month, and even then I was still tender. My last one was in 2017 so it's been 7 years and I have found the Marina has helped manage the symptoms. Good luck with it all :) hope you are in a position to take the time off you need <3
