What Birth Control Would You Recommend? Nexplanon, The Shot, Or A Type Of Birth Control Pill?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

What birth control would you recommend? nexplanon, the shot, birth control pill (which one?)
My doctor wants me to get the nexplanon tomorrow. I'm unsure. I've had a bad reaction to the shot. Trying to find something to keep me from getting prego but will help with the endo.
Thanks

I had nexplanon. My doctor believes it is what caused my cysts and painful endo symptoms. The hormone in it is too high and it stimulates your ovaries. I've heard no good things about nexplanon and I got mine out 2 yrs early. I'd just do the pill bc it's easier to change if you do have a bad experience.

@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member I would never get lupron again. I was so sick, but each person is different. Do lots of research that's what I'm doing.
