Hiya, post is a bit old but I speak from experience which was around 5 years ago now though. I didn't know I had endo at the time and was prescribed it to keep my cysts at bay. I started it when I was around 24-25 yr old and ceased when I was around 29. I started as prescribed and had 3 beautiful years of no bleeding, no period, no symptoms I could really describe. I came off it as I didn't think it was great to be on something manufactured for that long ( I prefer natural remedies) although I can say it worked brilliantly with me. I have oestrogen dominance and found that this helped with that. I'm 32 now and been diagnosed with sever endo last month during a scan with a 10cm cyst on my right ovary :-( I'm waiting for gynae appointment but I'm going to book in tomorrow with GP with a hope to starting Cerazette again. I mean it should be the same now for me as it was years ago right?! i'll let you know how I get on it they prescribe it again. Wishing you well :-D

Hi huni, on just Cerazette I had very erratic bleeding as a side effect. I often do on progesterone only treatments as that's what the Mirena coil is too. My gynaecologist recommended taking Yasmin an Oestrogen only pill as well as the cerezette. I take them both without a break most of the time. It works for me. X
