The book Stop The Thyroid Madness is good and Isabella Wentz has a good book I think it's called the root cause. I found them both helpful. On endo Dr. Andrew Cook's book stopping endometriosis and pelvic pain is great.

Yes the synthetic just gives you T4. Your actual thyroid produces T1, T2, and Calcitonin on top of T4. And that's what we KNOW about. I use otc thyrogold you can get a rx for west throid I think. Don't take armour it's got a ton of fillers.

Time to start reading up on this. I'll definitely be bringing what I find to my RE next month to implement some changes in treatment!
We rely so much on the knowledge, advice & treatment from our doctors. Unfortunately, sometimes it takes a lot more digging to fully understand and treat any issues. Endometriosis is a perfect example!

Back on the autoimmune infertility topic -

Have any of you ladies tried taking Benadryl (an antihistamine) during the implantation window?
I stumbled across a handful of articles that state it may help your body's immune system suppress at a critical time during conception - when some immune system's identify an embryo as a foreign object, and ultimately reject it before it can implant.

As for how this ties into Endo - I've also read that natural killer (nk) cells tend to be higher in women with endometriosis, along with other autoimmune reactions and conditions. Whether this prevalence is due to the 'foreign objects' the body is constantly defending itself against (Endo) or not, I have absolutely no idea. I am far from a medical doctor.

The idea behind this does make sense to me though, and with the endless amount of reading I've done, combined with the success stories from women who had been unsuccessful for years (including ivf)...I think it's worth a shot. Also, Benadryl is deemed category B during pregnancy, which doesn't pose risk.

If anyone can share any findings or personal experiences, it would be greatly appreciated!

In the meantime, I'm going to give this a shot over the next few cycles and I'll keep everyone posted :)
