When Will The Swelling Decrease?
Hey friends! So I had my first lap (excision) on Tuesday, quite a lot was taken out. My pain is already manageable without pain meds, however I have continued to ice to keep down the swelling, do any of y'all know when my stomach will go back to normal-ish size? I'm just so excited to be done with my endo-belly! :)
After surgery I looked about 6 months pregnant. I'm 3 weeks post op and some days I still look that way and others I look 4 months. I can't wait for all the swelling to go away. It is painful!
Mine still swollen can't really lie on my Tum yet mines been about 5 wks but also on period so that always Adds a bit of bloat... The little things we get excited about hey! If only the normies new how lucky they are to not have an endo belly! Love love hope all is well

Hey Hannah, when I had my lap done it took a few months for the swelling to go down completely, but the bottom part of my belly is now more sticky out than it was before, if I did a few sit up it would probably sort it out but I'm a lazy sod!

When I had my lap it took up to a month / six weeks 😭 but when the swelling went down I didn't get an endo belly for at least two months 😍
