I had it done yesterday. I just came home today.

Yeh u normally stay in for 3-4 days after a full hysterectomy whether it's done by surgeon or robotic operation... its a major operation and u will need bed rest for weeks after.... maybe 2 full weeks rest.... I'm hoping to have one soon... but coz im 27 they won't allow me to... I've been askin for a yr now... and last op woz on 12th April for laproscopy and thyve found a growth on ovary and being sent for mri scan on 13th May so won't knw wot thy are dealing with till then... will keep u updated.... good luck for your op... and take as much rest as poss... its as massive operation and u will be in a lot of pain... Stay in hospital as long as u can... I'd advise this to anybody after a hysterectomy... xx
