I'm not sure I trust the Robot but I would like opinions on to which way you think would be the most effective & safe. Do you think a robot could punch a hole in the intestine if the endo was on the bowel? all kinds of weird things are going through my mine & i'd appreciate feed back. Thank you girls. Hugs Tigreyes

Members reassured someone anxious about robotic surgery for endometriosis, explaining that the robot doesn't operate independently but instead amplifies a surgeon's precision and flexibility through robotic arms controlled entirely by the doctor. Several members shared personal experiences or family stories, noting that robotic laparoscopy is minimally invasive like traditional lap surgery (not open surgery), requires specialized training and certification, and often results in smooth recoveries with no noticeable difference from standard laparoscopic procedures. A recurring theme was the importance of researching the procedure, asking the surgeon about their success rates, and trusting experienced specialists, with many members expressing confidence and excitement about their upcoming robotic surgeries.

Thank you for the info. I'm glad you did research on it. that makes me feel better bc I really didn't know for sure about it. I go to the Mayo Clinic on May 24th & I don't know if he will want to do a lap but I do know he is a Robot Dr so he does do it. I just want to be prepared for what ever. I want to wish you the best on your lap in June. Please let me know how you & the details if you don't mind. I want to learn all I can on this endo. Best of luck to you. hugs
