I want to know abou those who have gotten pregnant with endo.
Pain wise before/during/after, please rate
And who many of you had a hysterectomy after childbirth?
I got pregnant super quick...the first trimester was awful with endo pain and nausea...after that it was a wonderful pregnancy and birth...all natural, no meds, and a 2nd degree tear...healed with no issues. Endo symptoms didn't come back until my daughter was about 7-8 months old
We had a really good labour, as far as they go.
We started with mild contractions on the Monday at 3pm, they didn't last long. Then Tuesday I started again at 3pm and went through until delivery.
My water didn't break until lunch, then he refused to deliver. You could see his head but he wouldn't move, so they did forcep delivery. They didn't give me pain releif and I also had 3rd degree tear.
He delivered at 3:36pm weighing 9lbs 6oz!

I was diagnosed with endo at 19 then at 26 delivered a healthy baby boy. A couple of years later we miscarried at 7 weeks.
The following year I had a laparoscopy but it showed no endo. Given me history they went ahead with a hysterectomy and found the endo had gotten in my cervix.
I was lucky the hysterectomy went ahead otherwise it wouldn't have been found. However, it wasn't successful and I've since been back in theatre twice hx
In 2012 I started getting unexplained pain and had an ultrasound that did not show anything. There was no talk of endo. I got pregnant with my second child and had him in 2013. My pain returned and got very bad - I had laparoscopic surgery and excision of endometriosis in March this year. I also had a tubal ligation.Although I wasn't diagnosed with endo prior to pregnancies my gynaecologist seemed to think it had been there for years.... Even since my teens. The real problem with it never started until after my second child. Good luck with your journey!
