For those who have been successful with getting pregnant with endo, what was your experience like? Did you have any complications? How was your pain? And if your endo was posterior like mine, how was your back pain and bowel issues impacted?
Thanks for any info you can provide ladies!
I did not have fertility issues fortunately, and actually did not have major symptoms until my second pregnancy, which were all GI-related. Many women have reduced symptoms during pregnancy, though. I did not have any complications or difficulty with my labors.
I have had 3 normal pregnancies- my labour pain was very bad lower back pain each time but that's probably normal😊 no other complications from endo that I was aware of. My period doesn't come back until I finish breastfeeding either so had a good long break from it
My pregnancy gave me a reprieve from my endo symptoms for the entire nine months, and the following eight months I nursed my baby. My pain resumed gradually afterward with each period. I had no pregnancy complications and the pain of childbirth was nothing compared with the endo pain I was familiar with. I had minimal back pain. I still had constipation, but it was manageable.
I had loads of endo symptoms but did not know I had it until I couldn't conceive a second child. I honestly didn't have any problems through my pregnancy until 40 weeks when I started to get pre-eclampsia and unfortunately had to have an emergency caesarean. Since my endo diagnosis I have read that these issues are likely to have been caused by the endo.
