I wish you the absolute best of luck!! If he is a good surgeon he would hopefully have spoken with colleagues in other states or looked into this type of specialist surgery to be more knowledgeable so I am sure everything will work out just as planned. You are most welcome
I am having a bowel resection with my next surgery and there is a chance of a temporary ileostomy bag. My surgeon said it would never be a permanent one but you don't know about the temporary one until they can get in there and see exactly what has gone on. I hope I don't have too and hope you are the same
@ tigereyes I had a colon resection on the lower colon, right next to the rectum as the docs took my endometriosis for cancer at first. I did not end up with a colostomy bag fortunately. Hope this is helpful.
Thank you so much. God bless
Thank you so much Stacey that was very helpful information. I don't have a specialist for endo & I don't know of any in the area but the surgeon that is going to do it is a good colorectal dr so I hope it comes out ok. I tell ya it's a scary thing. Thanks again.
