Anyone Had There Eggs Frozen?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm considering having my eggs frozen but I'd like some advice on how people's procedures went & the whole treatment process please? Thanks in advance x

I did IVF two years ago. I definitely recommend anyone that is not ready to be a mom right now but wants to have babies freeze their eggs. It's a long process and for me it hurt so very bad. But was so so worth it. I have 8 Embabies frozen. If I had the forsight I would have saved when I was first diagnosed and not when I was 34 and stage 4 Endo. It was the worst pain.

I never got to that stage during ivf cuz i have low ovarian reserve and poor egg quality. But im.guessing its the same treatment as stimming for ivf. If thats the case, then u will have to give yourself multiple injections in your stomach multiple times daily. Then they will give u a trigger shot in your butt. They put you under for egg retrieval. There is always a chanc le u can get ovarian hyperstimulation. Your dr would discuss that with u.
