Frozen Pelvis And Lupron
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I'm a 39 year mom of 3. I had laparoscopic surgery on June 6th to remove a cyst on my right ovary. Doctor was surprised to find out I had endometriosis and the cyst was an endomentrioma. He says I have a "frozen pelvis" and would like me to go on 6 months of Lupron. Although I have no symptoms of endometriosis? He says if I need surgery again I can not have laparoscopic that I would need full abdominal surgery. Since the cyst was removed my periods seem better not as crampy. But my cramps… read more

Hi, I am currently on Lupron and I'm supposed to go in for my 4th shot tomorrow. Needless to say, im not getting it. Unfortunately Lupron has not worked for me. It's actually made my cramping worse along with all of the horrible side effects, I've been miserable for months now. Like I said I still have the cramping every day all day, I now have terrible migraines(headaches everyday), joint and muscle pain, my muscles in my legs are always cramping up on me, I am extremely tired all the time. I take several naps a day. I'm fortunate that I do not have to work right now but I do have 3 children and it is nearly impossible for me to get out of bed to do things with them. I have been extremely moody. I'm just thankful I have a very supportive husband and understanding children or else I'd probably be divorced and alone :( I'm not trying to steer you away from Lupron because I did a lot of research on it before I agreed to go on it and it has helped many women, it just didn't help me. It actually made me feel worse. And I forgot to mention that I am taking Aygestin daily along with the Lupron.

I was on Lupron for a year. It took my pain from a 6 to a 2. I have heard horrible sidea effects. The worst I had were hot flashes. Which I enjoyed in the winter time, lol, but had to carry a fan with me over the summer for my 'personal tropical moments '. Each person reacts differently to the Lupron. I wish they could put me on it again but FDA only approves it to be used once

Lupron and i do not mix. Some women swear by it. I swear never put that poison in my body again. All i can suggest is to think long and hard and do tons of research before making ypur decision
