I feel so much worse when I was taking the contraceptive pill than when I wasn't. My periods were still all over the place and I had more endo spasms taking it compared to when I wasn't taking it.
I feel the gyne isn't taking my pain seriously and I feel he only wants me to take it on the lead up to my laproscopy so he doesn't again laser anything off.
I need help.
I refuse the meds. I learned to deal with the pain.
Yes. I told them no I can't take it and thy have left it as that. You don't have to be on any hormone treatment. I aren't on anything at the moment but I'm kind of used to the pain xx
Oh I've never heard of Visanne, I'll speak to my GP about it. It's strange because I have the exact same symptoms as you! I felt like no one understood!

I totally agree with you. I felt WAY worse on the birth control pill. It made my periods worse and on top of that made me have horrible mood swings which I couldn't deal with anymore. I would bleed through the pills anyways, i would be in the middle of a pack and get my period. It was like the endo was stronger than the bc pill could handle. I am taking visanne now (2 months in) and although the side effects aren't fun (headaches, nausea, fatigue) I haven't been in pain everyday anymore. It can take 3 months for the body to adjust but so far way more relief than the bc pill gave me. @A MyEndometriosisTeam Member
Thank you all for your support, it's so nice to have a website that's dedicated to us girls.
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member I've been on all the pills available in the UK and tried different hormones. I know I have more male hormones than female in my body and everytime they give me a female induced hormone it makes me so ill.
