Thanks for the reply!
Sorry to hear that you had bad experiences with Cannabis. I would have to agree that Cannabis can be risky if you don't know what you are doing. A high THC content for someone who does not have a high tolerance to Cannabis will have exaggerated side effects. Which explains your bad side effects of nausea and worsening migraine pain level when you ingested edibles, a dose of high THC oil and high THC Cannabis. It comes down to a lack of education about Cannabis and its properties.
I've used Cannabis for a few years now so my tolerance is higher than most which allows me to consume high THC products and get the most relief possible.
High THC is NOT something I would recommend to a beginner Cannabis user at all. I would recommend a high Cannabidiol (CBD) content Cannabis strain....
When medicating with Cannabis...
Try a low-THC and/or high-CBD strain. CBD is the non-psychoactive compound which combats anxiety and counteracts THC’s psychoactive effects, resulting in a calmer and less euphoric experience.
Be aware of your dose. Smoking and vaporizing will be the fastest rate of consumption compared to oils and edibles. Consider starting with one or two puffs you’re worried about getting too high.
Set and setting is pivotal to the experience, so get to a comfortable place to reduce panic and paranoia.
Find the right strain. Every strain has something different about it on a chemical level, so keep track of which ones have worked for you. Sativa strains tend to deliver a racier, high-energy effect while Indica strains tend to be more full bodied, relaxing and help with pain relief.
Any questions let me know! :)

I medicate with Cannabis, per doctors orders. It made such a difference. But not legally available everywhere.
