Do You Struggle/how Do You Cope With Sitting On Chairs?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I find sitting on hard chairs puts a lot of pressure on my underside. I assume because I had endo (now excised) on my pouch of douglas & utereo-sacral ligament that certain sitting positions puts pressure on these areas. It makes working at my desk (home office) for more than 1-2hrs without a long break really difficult.
Does anyone else have this problem? What do you do to combat it?
I unfortunately don't have the money to buy a standing desk.

often when forced to sit up for more than ~15 minutes in say, a meeting, I become obsessed with lying on my belly on the floor (this really helps my pain) and I get all tied in knots about how socially unacceptable it is to lie on my belly on the floor. I'm seriously contemplating just ignoring the social mores and dust, and just doing it in front of everyone :)

The pouch of douglas is the recto uterine pouch. Area between rectum and uterus

I just couldn't get round it at all. I had to give up work completely and start my own business making and selling stuff working from home. I have hot water bottle lie down breaks several times a day. As well as yoga breaks. But it took ages to get it going and make regular money and find what works but if I can avoid if I'll never work for anyone else again.
