I see that Visanne is not included under treatments, my doctor has put me on this tablet as a life long treatment for stage 4 Endo. Before signing the chronic forms for my medical aid, i need to know if this is the only solution. What are the chances of falling pregnant after stopping Visanne or has anyone using Visanne fallen pregnant after stopping it? My gynae believes its the best solution as i am on stage 4 Endo.

I was on Visanne for 5 months. Except for weight gain (approx 5 kg) and bad skin, what really didnt work for me was the insomnia. Severe ones two-three months after I started. What I read around, it is not so uncommon under this pill
my obgyn said that it is not sold as a contraceptive pill but that you cannot get pregnant with it and that it preplaces the pill. the only thing is that you have to be careful not to takeit late (2 hour is ok not more!)
regarding falling pregnant after it, unfortunately, I am not at this stage of my relationship yet;) but i have been told you can get your period again after 6 months in some cases!
I have been on Visanne for 6 months and I am also experiencing insomnia. Last 2 months have been the worst and I am thinking to change the pill. Did you take another one after that?
I am not sure if we have that drug in New Zealand but i would do more research on it.
