See someone who knows how to diagnose endometriosis of the uterosacral ligaments & peritoneum as well as adenomyosis which is in the uterine wall (ultrasound diagnoses adenomyosis). Hysterectomy made my pain worse; it was no longer cyclic but continuous.

Endometriosis is OUTSIDE the uterus. It doesn't help unless you have adenomyosis (can be seen on ultrasound). Get a referral to a dedicated endometriosis specialist and reproductive endocrinologist if you can. Second opinions are golden; I was never offered the option. Avoid hysterectomy and ovaries being removed. The Endometriosis Association and Endometriosis Foundation have a lot of information on line. They give sources of referral but they are not all referrals are good. Some do surgery only and do not manage the disease. Some do not have the experience needed.

To be honest I had a hysterectomy Feb 2016 and I am still dealing with a lot of endo pain. I hope that it work for you because I know that everyone is different.
