Hey everyone don't normally post here but thought I'd try as would be a good support network. So my history is diagnosed endometriosis since 2008 but problems since 1993. I'm currently off work with debilitating pain and am on zoledex, which had been effective (no hrt as constant bleeding then) for last two years. Thanks @A MyEndometriosisTeam Member I'm now 7 weeks post op hysterectomy. Turned out had stage 4endometriosis and adenomyosis along with my uterus attached to my bowel and ovaries stuck to my cervix. I had full hysterectomy with ovaries and cervix. I'm recovering well and am pleased i made the decision. I hope you're well xx
I'm sorry that no one has answered this question for you. I have not had one personally but my mother has and she said it helped a lot with the pain. Some other people that I have talked to on this site said that if the endometriosis spreads to other organs than the ovaries and uterus it won't help with the pain. God bless!
