My gynae has proposed I go on a course of prostap for 3m to see if this restricts growth etc.

Am I mad because I believed that prostap was to enforce a false menopause? Surely just stopping my hrt would do the same thing?

I may be looking for excuses because I remember the horrific side effects of this drug from last time. I am so dreading it all over… read more

From what I understand, endo makes its own estrogen so even without ovaries it can still grow. It needs to be cut out by a specialist. My doc and I both agree that HRT is not what I want and we are going back into surgery to check it out and then possibly get a team together to do excision. Depends on what they see but I still won't take HRT. Everyone is different. You know your body. You know yourself. If doc wants to experiment with bandaids with side effects from hell, I would be looking for a different doc. Hope you find some relief!
