My doctor wants me to have the Mirena coil put in immediately after my removal surgery for the endo. The coil is honestly the last contraception I want to go on but I know doctors think it's the best option in preventing the come back of endo for a while. Does anyone know of any other contraception that worked well for them in preventing the immediate grow back of the endo? I am currently taking the seasonique pill and have not a had a problem with it. I have had the injection before and had so many issues with breakthrough bleeding and pain :( I have also tried many other pills too with no success.

Hi there are other options available I was offered the same and I refused and now have an Injection every 3 months to help me in the mean time until op. Look in to what's available where you are and go for what's best for you good luck x
