Hi girls, I got the mirena inserted in march this year the first few months was grand I was finally pain free from severe endo for the first time in 3 years, over the past couple months ive had infection after infection, spotting every day, shaking badly and now pins & needles and numbness in my hands and feet to the point where its hard to use them until it goes away :( wondering if any of yous lovely ladies have experienced the same thing with the mirena, im so confused x

Hey chick - I had the spotting and infection after infection about 9 months after the mirena insertion. Was great prior to that but afterwards...well for me it was hell. I would keep track of all your symptoms (diarise them) so that the next time you visit your health professional they don't have a choice but to listen as you talk through day by day your experience. Mirena works for lots of people but others not so much. Keep listening to your body and don't let anyone delegitimize your experience.
