I used to have a lot of pain with sex and hours after sex and also pain like you said with just clitoris stimulation. I went to physical therapy for my pelvic floor muscles and it has helped my pain tremendously during sex. I still get pain sometimes during sex but only right before my period.

This may TMI especially because I’m new, but- Sex is also painful for me but in a different way. It’s like a throbbing and overly dry feeling. I’ve been told that because it’s so likely that the disease is also in my pelvic walls that is what causes the throbbing and sometimes cramping like feeling during and after sex - sometimes after for several days. The drying feeling is actual dryness. Because I started birth control at 14 to prevent Endo symptoms from getting worse and help with periods, and now that I’ve been on a continuous regimen for almost 2 years causing puesdo menopause it’s caused vaginal dryness and thinning near the exterior and lips. My gynecologist suggested to me for both problems to use lube and try to be in positions where I’m able to control the pressure.

I’ve had multiple laps, years worth of PT and routine appt with a pain management dr. I still haven’t had sex in 4 years. My hubby is so worried about hurting me that it kills the libido. It hurts no matter the position and for days after. No orgasm is worth that pain. I let my hubby watch all the porn he wants. He masturbates a lot. I even tried vaginal stretching toys. I still get excited and want it, but I know it won’t happen. I have no answers. I don’t think any dr does. It’s as much psychological as physical.
