When you go to the ER for pain do they just give you pain meds and send you home? Is anything else done for you?

When I went they also did a CT scan because I was complaining of severe abdominal pain and did not know then that I had endo.

Usually i am given iv fluids, iv pain meds and iv anti nausea meds. I usually get a transvaginal ultrasound and or CT, sometimes both depending on what is found.
