Anyone Had Large Blood Clots Bigger Than A Golf Ball?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hi. Sorry if this is TMI but I am freaking out! I have undiagnosed endometriosis and diagnosed PCOS. I always have clots when I bleed, but I had a sharp pain shooting through my vagina and I could barely sit still. It took my breath away. I ran to the bathroom and I passed a huge clot. It was dark and red and looked like a piece of my insides. I have anxiety so I immediately went into a panic attack because it scared me so bad. Now I am bleeding so severe that I cant wear a super plus tampon… read more

Yes I also have endo and pcos, I was bleeding very heavy for three months passed massive clots I even needed an iron transfusion, light headed, heart pounding and fatigued.

I got a d&c / and ablation surgery which was the best thing I ever did.

Your uterus liner is very thick that’s why your shedding such large clots. It only gets worse.

I’m 8 yrs post ablation and still hardly have much of a period ( still other period symptoms like normal)

No bleeding to death and fatigue like before at all

If ur done having children please get an ablation and get your life back!

Hi Nikki, I have also experienced this. It’s very scary, I agree. When mine were really bad I had some non cancerous fibroid tumors that were so bad I had difficulty breathing. I would contact your doctor and let him/her know what happened. The good news, I’m still here to tell the story. I hope you are doing better! Sending you a big hug and lots of love! - Nicole

I have endometriosis and pcos and I have found that Vitex , fish oil and a multivitamin has made a difference.. not a cure but it has helped lessen the length of my cycle . Not the heaviness nor the pain though . I take ibuprofen 800mg 3Xa day starting from the very first sign of bleeding and try to drink lots of water and my ginger tea .. the Ginger helps calm the cramping — I add Jaggery ( Indian sugar for the iron ) and sip that .. or a ginger latte which is super yummy and warming . I find a series on Netflix , want blanket ..heating pad and settle on the sofa for as much as possible

I have experienced the same thing. The vaginal pain when passing such a large clot is absolutely awful and can definitely leave you horrified. As weird as it sounds, doing kegel exercises when you feel one passing actually helps ease the pain.

Yes that's exactly what I did! Bled for 3 months straight with heavy bleeding and was so weak. Went to the doctor and she put me on BC which made mebleed heavier then she told me to stop it and had no solution for me. -_- Now im going to this other doctor that wants to put me on a MIrena but they have yet to contact me about it. I just feel so frustrated. they wont give me a D&C because im only 26 and have had no kids but I am gay so I cant have kids anyways and I want to adopt. I just wish they would help me! :( Thanks for the advice!!!
