Hello - I've started taking DESOGESTREL 75mg (mini-pill) to try and manage endo symptoms..... I started it nearly 7 weeks ago and have been bleeding (at times quite heavily) ever since. I'm not sure if this is to be expected and making things worse in my insides (I have endo pulling up my bowel, bladder, uterus plus cyst on ovary)..... any advice, experiences would be greatly appreciated ..... thank you
I had a similar issue when I tried the mini pill. Lots of break through bleeding. Also you might be on too low of a dose to stop the bleeding. I take a 1.5mg of a combo bc pill and it works well for me to stop bleeding completely. If your symptoms / bleeding doesn’t get better after 3-4 months I’d suggest try something else. I don’t mind giving you the name of what I take if you’d like but what may work for me might not work for you.
