Visanne has been effective on me in terms of stopping my period and I don’t experience the excruciating pain anymore. In terms of side efffects, I get tired easily and I get occasional mild headaches. I told my doctor about a concern on the cost of visanne and that it is not covered by my insurance. She actually told me that it is okay to stop taking visanne and that I can shift to depo provera since my recent blood and hormones tests all came normal.

I think Visanne is better than Provera. At least, it won't cause you bone loss later on. Take Calcium as supplement and B Complex with Zinc.

Visanne is not meant for me. I took Visanne for 3 months, and that's it!...I went insane...hahahahaha...

I took Mirena..it went well for me for the time being.
