Ive had the iud for 8 months. Initially my periods were lighter but each period is heavier than the previous one. Its possible that the iud has stopped my period but im not convinced. Prior to the IUD i was on the pill i would have extremely heavy periods and never managed to skip a period by skipping the sugar pills. I’m seeing my OBGYN today so i will what they think.

How do you find depo?

I think I have heard the IUD can stop your periods. I am on depo, so I don’t get periods, but I still get the relief. How long have you been on the IUD?
