Has anyone tried the contraceptive implant that goes in your arm? Does this help with endo at all?

I had this as well a few years back. The spot where they put it hurt for 2 years straight ! Also I had one if the severe side effect of suicidal thoughts to even kill my kids ! I begged for them to take it out and they kept telling me it will get better well after 2 years it got worse. I physically went into the docs office and said if you don't remove this I will with a knife myself ! And they removed it. It depends on you so what you feel is right is right !

Hey! I currently have the Nexplanon implant in my arm & I've had it in since the beginning of this past November. I was hoping it would help shrink my ovarian cyst in my right ovary, but sadly it's just made me feel worse! 😑😩 I've been bleeding ever since I had the damn thing inserted, I basically feel like I have my period 24/7! 😪😱 In my honest opinion, I don't think it's worth it, but everyone reacts differently towards different options. It's really just a risk you'll have to be willing to take, that's what I ended up doing & you never until you try. I wish you the best of luck with your decision, I hope your able to find some relief!! Sending love, hugs & prayers!! 😘💋💖💗💞🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hi I tried it 15yrs ago. Now period for 9months then bled 3month straight. Had ut removed and contined to bleed for months which lead to another surgery. I found the Mirena to be a much better option. Wish I'd of known about it much earlier!
