Is Spotting While On Depoprovera Normal?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've started spotting while on Depoprovera, but I haven't had my period in months. Is this normal? Or should I see my GYN?it's been about 2 months since my last period, and I haven't stopped taking depo, so I'm worried. Before the spotting, I was having so much discharge it looked like i peed myself.

I second the keeping track, my experience with Depo wasn't as expected. I had the same periods, the same pains and found I only gained a lot more weight than normal.

Spotting can happen. If it persists see your dr. I had it in the beginning but I’ve been on it a year now and it stopped

When I was on it in my younger days, I spotted every now and then, but not often. And the spotting didn't even last a full day. It's totally normal. However, if its happening too much or is a major concern for you, then maybe you should talk to your doctor.
