I had to have a urine test yesterday as part of a physical for a job. They said i had traces of blood when they did that dip test
The dr was terrible and first words out of his mouth when he was looking at charg. Was that blood in the urine can be caused by bladder cancer. Now a little back story. My daughter is a pediatric cancer survivor so any time cancer is mentioned i freak out
My question is has anyone ever had this happen from their endo. I have absolutely no symptoms besides my… read more

I do not see blood at all. It just shows up microscopic. I've been dealing with this for 10 years. The doctors get all freaked out bc of the blood. I'v had about 5 cystoscopy's in my life & everything was ok so the Cleveland Clinic dr. told me its probably natural for me. I do have Stage 3 Kidney disease & am having problems with my GFR & Creatinine at the moment & am very scared bc my counts are off & getting worse. I was told to drink as much fluids as I can & that is difficult for me but I'm doing it & have to repeat the labs next Wed & see if they dropped anymore. Yes the test does say microscopic hematuria. I see a Nephrologist for the kidneys & the urologist would be the one to do a cystoscopy. Nephrologist just does the labs & informs you what to do & gets you ready for dialysis & if mine keeps going down they said I would need to do that. Your GFR would have to be about a 15. Mine is 36 right now. I know your scared & its natural but does it say the amount of blood. A trace isn't that much & I personally blame endo for it bc of the choc. cysts have blood & I'm sure the endo causes some type of blood but I believe that is where mine is coming from bc I've had too many test done & there ok. Try not to worry , I know its hard bc I'm the famous worrior. If you have any questions feel free to ask, I'm here for you. Best of luck to you & let me know how you are doing. hugs tigreyes

Is it visible blood or microscopic ?(test might say microscopic hematuria)? I’ve been getting that for a while on labs and keep getting antibiotics but I’ve been on 5 rounds this year I don’t want to go to more. Getting referred to a urologist scared

I have a trace of blood in my urine from the dip stick. I've been going through that for ten yrs. I was having regular cystoscopy's & everything else was fine . I was going to the Cleveland Clinic in Vegas but they shut down last yr but they said they thought it was just normal for me but I do have Stage 3 Kidney disease. They always worry & think of cancer but it is not always that so try not to worry. I was worried too .Sorry you lost your insurance. That has to be tough. Best of luck to you & WELCOME.
