Please help. In January, my OB put me on Ortho Micronor because my periods were horrible. I called my doctor yesterday, because I do not feel like the BC is helping. My periods are still very painful, heavy, etc. I hurt all of the time, even in between my periods. I have a lot of bloating, pain on my right side, fatique. I am scheduled to see him tomorrow. Thank you! I went to the doctor. He is putting me on a pill taper to stop my bleeding. He also did some blood work today, checking my CBC, Thyroid and pregnancy test. I have my tubes tied. I have had abnormal paps in the past. Had the Leep procedure done 3 1/2 years ago and that cleared up my abnormal paps. They are supposed to call me tomorrow with my results. I am going to request an ultrasound. I have a lot of family history with fibroids, uterine cancer, ovarian cancer, etc.
It sounds like endometriosis to me but of course I am not a doctor. Good luck today and let us know how your appointment turns out. I have to go for my first leep procedure next month. I was diagnosed with high risk HPV a year after I was diagnosed with endo! Keep your head up. it may take some time to figure out what works best for your symptoms.
