I would primarily have intense pain just before and during my period which was generally alleviated by a strict regimen of OTC Aleve every 12 hours. About once every 3-4 months I would need something stronger on the first day or two. I never had heavy flow though and my period generally lasted about 3 days. Over the past few months though we did have about 3 ER visits due to extreme pain. It may have been related to the 3mm chocolate cyst on my left ovary though. I was actually really surprised I was diagnosed with stage 4 since I don’t seem to have the daily pain which seems characteristic of other stage 4 sufferers.

Can you describe your symptoms? Did you have constant ovaries pain out of period time ?
I was having pain only during period now it is a daily pain it is not severe but i feel uncomfortable on my lower abdominal area i would think that my organs stuck together or i have blocked tubes

I was just diagnosed stage 4 after my surgery 3 days ago. During the surgery she tested my tubes to make sure they were open and all is well. The only hiccup is that my right ovary is attached to my colon. I will be asking her about fertility when I have post op in a couple of weeks. She did say I could still get pregnant I just don’t know yet how difficult it will be or what the pregnancy will be like.

It isn’t possible unless after surgery. My sister was diagnosed with stage 4 endo and underwent laparotomy to remove cysts. 2 years after surgery she was able to get pregnant. Now she has a super duper cute 3 month old baby girl.
