I am wondering if those who have had the laparoscopic surgery found that it increased their chances to get pregnant? I am hearing that it can increase your chances, but also lower your ovarian reserve and don't know what to believe! I recently went through a 90 hormonal treatment, but it did not seem to help. The pain is getting so bad all the time, I am exhausted, and feel down constantly.

When discussing it with my surgeon after my lap, she let me know that the lap would have saved me from infertility in the future as if I'd left it I would have gotten more adhesions which would have caused more issues for me. For me it was more than worth it even if it does effect my eggs.

I believe if you have a good excision surgeon and you get it right before trying to conceive that’s best .

I am about to find out. Had my lap last week and they removed a chocolate cyst from my left ovary, plus a small amount of mild endo from my pelvis. We tried for 10 months with no luck and this will be our first cycle after surgery, I really hope it helps! I do know that my left ovary may not function properly now, but it also wasn't functioning properly before surgery either, so I figured I'd just go with the surgery. My right ovary and tubes are all completely fine though, which is why I'm not as worried.
