I had a hysterectomy last winter only leaving one ovary to aid in menopause - or atleast that was the thought . Today I am still having issues and now Dr is suggesting another surgery to remove the ovary forcing me into menopause to hopefully stop the endo from growing. She has also presented Liupron shots as a way to force ovary Into menopause. I am having same issues as you are experiencing and the gastro and gyno are at odds but the gyno formally believes it is still growing on my other organs - as it had infiltrated my bowels , appendix , and other organs discovered in an exploratory surgery prior to full hysterectomy. The existing ovary is fully functional feeding the endo. Not sure how to proceed from here still weighing options as first removal was horrible due to the damage already done by endo.
