Hi! So I am on the pill (sprintec) and dont have flare ups every monthly cycle but probably every 2 months or so. I know the pill is “supposed” to alleviate symptoms so I think thats why my diagnosis has been harder to get. I used to have heavy irregular periods (i also have hashimotos) but since being on the pill since age 15 my periods are light. I notice that when I do get flares it is always 2 weeks before my period starts, 2 weeks into my pack. The IBS symptoms hit first, constipation… read more

Yeah. You just dont ever stop the pill. I forget that the sugar pills exist, sorry I've never had those ones 😊
Speak to your doctor and make sure they know you will do it. But if you don't take the breaks, you won't have a period. There may be a lil bleeding occasionally, spotting mostly, but for me that never really happened.
And due to no periods, it could help stop the endo growing and maybe even the pain. Some women are lucky and this is all the treatment they need to control it.
Let me know if you have any questions. I will happily answer 🙂🎗️💛 x

I was taken off of sprintec and put on the depo shot. I had pain pretty much the entire time i was taking sprintec and still have pain now. I had the same symptoms you have with the constipation and then diarrhea. I also bloated pretty bad. I still dont know why this happened. They put me on the depo because this was the last step before finally talking to a specialist about what comes next. Im really hoping to have either a complete hysterectomy or a partial. Im just so tired of the pain.

Sadly the pill isn't a cure. I have also been on mine since I was a teenager. However I have always still had endo symptoms. I just think how bad i would be without it. I don't have periods. Have you thought about talking to your doctor about a new pill? And I would also suggest speaking to him about not taking the breaks. You can just not have a period and you will be fine. It may even lessen your pain. Its a typical thing they do here a lot of the time for endometriosis patients. My specialist surgeon tells me not to take any breaks.
I went through a lot of pills to get the right one for me. 💛🎗️ X
