Any Success Stories With Lupron Endo And Ivf (having A Baby)
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have been struggling with infertility. My husband and I have tried almost everything. I’ve had endometriosis for probably the last 15 years. And after my ivf session I developed a cyst 4x6 pushing on my bladder and making me pee every five minutes. The doc suggested lupron (already had a laparoscopy remover a tube due to scaring from endo). They say the endo has affected egg quality and quantity. So today I’m day three. 11.25 ome time injection for three months. The doc wants to see me in six… read more

I responded well to IVF. I only remember my husband giving me shots and I believe I did take pill. I think they got 6 or 7 eggs I implanted 3 twice the second time I got pregnant. It is so hard I do think I was effected by all I went through. They say it does take a toll on you because you so focused on getting pregnant and once I was pregnant I was so nervous. I did everything right from no lifting heavy things to eating healthy foods. I believe God gives you what you can handle and for me I was meant to get pregnant this way which is why I see how precious getting pregnant is. Hang in there and believe and imagine you will be a mother!!

Omg that’s horrible.

I took th lupron but it stopped working after a month and a half instead of three.
I am now trying to stay positive. I do not want to do another ivf. I started taking vitex (natural herbal supplement) to help and it really made a difference in the endometriosis pain. I am praying a lot and believe I will get pregnant.

I will not ever take lupron again. It was terrible.

Really? Thank you for that
I had a failed ivf it was very disappointing. There wasn’t much for them to work with egg wise and nothing fertilized. I was sad but moved on. Then now the dr suggested a three month one time lupron injection because of the endometriosis. I’ll try to keep your positive attitude. I do picture myself a mom. And my husband will be such a great dad. I hope and pray this time it works!! And that we will hold our healthy baby in our arms soon. Thanks for the positivity

I haven't heard that endo affects the age of eggs or quantity and for me I have been told at 39 I still have a good reserve of eggs. Something's not right though as after 12 years I am giving in and trying IVF.
