Hello everyone😇.. I have been dealing with my pains since I was 13 and I was told had a few ovarian cyst on my ovaries when I was 26 in 2011. Then I finally had them removed in 2017 when 1 grew to the size of an orange & the other 2 were walnut size. I finally had laparoscopy surgery in July of 2018 finding out about endometriosis. The question I'm asking is it seems after having the surgery my pain has gotten worse, has anyone else experience this?
I not sure if it's worse but before i reckon it was for me believed it was originally just a part of the whole period cycle. now not getting the periods either myself theres like no attachment and when you speak to others that's where the whole in you head thing seems more vacant. if you get what I mean. all the systems are still there the pain well for myself is still. I did have some relief for a short time but then how much of that was actually through the pain medication at the time to. sometimes I feel it's worse possibly worsening. but that I feel is because we are not getting the right treatments for what is needed. And to be fair what is the right treatments?
So as to your question hun I not to sure yo be honest but i know it's no more nice and easier than it was before.
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member funny you say that about after surgery and the scar tissue. mine is the left side. and I totally get what you mean. I also find temperature and climate affect my pain levels and my scarring. scarring maybe minimal but nonetheless it's still there and it gets affected just the same
@A MyEndometriosisTeam Member im sorry to hear you were born with the cyst that had to be hard. Thanks for the info, I feel like the area where the incision was made sometime gets a random tingling sensation. Which i think it just might be the nerves around it. I hope that it doesn't come back fast or at all.

I was born with cysts on my right ovary and was diagnosed with endo at 15 when my appendix had to be removed. The surgeon removed my cysts as well in order to get to my appendix and he warned me that endo attacks/attaches to scar tissue so I have noticed over the years (I'm 26 now) that my right side where I had surgery is significantly worse.
