I’ve got a pretty good handle on my pain these days but my periods are still super heavy. Any one found any natural solutions? My body can’t handle hormones of any kind so those are out. My gynecologist recommended ibuprofen at the start of my period but it doesn’t lessen the bleeding for me. I’ve also read that ginger can help but I tried it and no difference.

Thanks Julie. Sadly it looks like that medication can cause strokes in women who are heterozygous for MTHFR and I’m homozygous so I’ll definitely stay away from that one!
There is a drug called Lysteda that you can take just during your period. It's not a hormone. I think it's actually a med that they give to people like hemophiliacs who they don't want to bleed out. For me it worked for two periods, and then seemed to fizzle out. It works really well for some, and not as well for others. Perhaps it is worth a try for you!
