I had my laparoscopic surgery back in November and was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis. The doctor cleared me about two weeks after surgery, but I have been experiencing a lot of problems/pain ever since the surgery. My husband and I tried to have sex for the first time since surgery and the pain was unbearable, we had to stop. Has anyone experienced this? The surgery was almost 3 months ago at this point and I was under the impression that sex should not be an issue.
I has the same procedure for the same stage endo and mine was back within 6 months. Were they clear on if they got it all? I was told mine was in hidden places. I would talk to your Dr. For me, that type of pain never eased up.
6 months? I’m sorry! That is terrible. I know there is still some remaining in my rectum because it was so deeply embedded they needed another surgeon who specializes in that. I was having pain with sex beforehand, but this pain was almost worse. It’s so very frustrating!
My first surgery never helped with sex always had been painful I guess it always will be for me
