Has anyone delevoped endo/symptoms after a c-section? I never had health issues or endo symptoms until I had my son via c-section in 2016. Took over a year to finally be diagnosed with stage one endo. It just doesn’t make sense to me.

Members connected over the shared experience of developing endometriosis after having a C-section, with several describing how they had no symptoms before their deliveries in 2010, 2012, and 2016, and then faced years of excruciating pain before finally receiving a diagnosis. Many members explained that C-section scar tissue and adhesions can contribute to or worsen endometriosis, with some experiencing pain so severe it surpassed childbirth, yet facing dismissive doctors who told them they were crazy or shouldn't still be in pain years after surgery. A recurring theme was the frustration of being disbelieved, the long diagnostic journey, and the determination to find doctors who truly understand endometriosis and will listen to their concerns.

Ohhh yes!!! That's where my endo came from I didn't have problems until I had my son in 2012 and ever since then is when I had my endo pain and it took me six years to FINALLY be diagnosed with endo!!! The scar tissue from my c section along with the endometriosis had actually adheared to my bowl

I had heavy periods right from the start but I had continuous pain from my csection scar on my uterus. I think that the scar tissue definitely made things worse.
