My endometriosis is located in my stomach fat on to of the abdominal wall. This has occurred as a result of my last (3rd) c-section. This is a very rare type of endo to have and I'm wondering if anyone else is dealing with it also? I've had 2 surgeries to remove masses with my stomach fat and a laparoscopy where no endo was found with-in my abdominal cavity around my organs . Looking for someone in a similar situation
I have the same thing. Looking for a doctor to try sclerotherapy before cutting me open to remove it
I'm so sorry you are experiencing this. I hope you can find someone who can relate to what you are going through! best of luck
Hi, sorry to hear about your difficulties but I don't think it's the same. All of my organs- uterus. Bowels. Ovaries are all endo free & fine. But the endo I have is above the abdominal wall lining & muscle within the fat under the skin.
I may have a similar situation.. but I'm not sure? I had exploratory surgery in 1996 when I was 13 - before the non-invasive surgery days. This left with me severe adhesions (aka scar tissue) in my abdomen, meaning my organs adhered to my abdominal wall. I would experience bowel obstructions and abdominal pain regularly because of this, in addition to stage 4 endo. I did have the adhesions removed via surgery, but was told they would come back.
Does this sound like what you might have?
