Is It Bad To Take Estrogen Birth Control?
A MyEndometriosisTeam Member asked a question 💭

In order to stop a period that went on for over a month my dr put me on a double does of lo loestrin fe. Which contains estrogen. Won't this make my endometriosis worse?

They put me on Lo Loestrin Fe too, it helped for a few months but now my pains are coming back even with skipping my periods intentionally

Ask your doctor or NP. Individualized Care is needed. Some women like the Mirena IUD as it helps reduce pain and bleeding.
