My gyne just diagnosed endometriosis today. I've had pelvic pain, irregular and heavy periods and bleeding between periods and recurrent ovarian cysts for a 7 months so it's nice to finally have a diagnosis. She's prescribed visanne for me and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if they've taken it and how it worked for them and how it made them feel......some of the side effects have me a little concerned.....

Hi. Thank you for responding. It’s been about a week in visanne and I actually feel good for the first time in months. So far other then the occasional headache i haven’t had any side effects. I haven’t had my period yet but it is due sometime this week so I will have to wait and see what happens. 😀

I have been taking visanne for 5 months now, at the beginning it was really hard I had many side effects (breast sensitivity, depression, back pain, leg pain)
But the good part is since day one I didn’t have pain anymore during my period. Also I just had my period for the first 2 months taking the medication as now my periods stopped completely.
I hope for you it’s going to be a good experience as well!
