I have the same story, 38 and my doctor doesn’t what me to have the hysterctomie. I have 6 months to decide if I accept the injections for menopause, I will follow your story with attention :)

Lupron is POISON & I would advise anyone considering to please do your homework first, as I did not . . . I just trusted what my dr said & just went with it!! I will say that I WAS actually pretty pain-free during my treatment HOWEVER I too had every horrible side effect they speak of to the point of not even being worth being pain-free (which I didn't think was possible)!!! Not to mention the long term issues that can affect you years later, which I had NO idea about until way after when some endosisters were telling me about the issues they'd had & I was able to connect some dots for myself then too!! By then it was way too late to do anything about tho 😔 I have heard more bad stories than good but I HAVE heard some good, so it does help some women!! It's just not a decision to be made lightly & urge you to do your research!! Good luck to you 😉

Hi, when I was diagnosed at 28 with Endo they put me on the injection for false menopause for me it didn't work so then they tried numerous types of the pill that didn't work then I was left for a long time with nothing cause my doc said it would be best to give my body a break for all the meds...I was in agony 😢 a long time after then they tried that bar you get in your arm for me it made me very depressed, sad and very angry towards my partner, this is so unlike me so after about 4 months they took it out. Unfortunately once again I was left with nothing and after many many........many years of pleading and begging my doc to try the marina coil they finally did and the first one worked great but the second not so good and I'm now on my third unfortunately the fantastic effects of the coil seem to be diminishing with each new coil. Today I posted a doctor's letter to a Endo doc in Dublin and hopefully for the first time since I've been diagnosed with this disease hopefully I'll get to talk to a real Endo doc and hopefully he can help me with the fact that this third coil doesn't seem to be as good as the others. I've had these shots, the Lupron Depot. I just finished my last round actually. I'm 23 and it was awful to say the least. I experience every side affect they spoke about night sweats, hot flashes, cramping, spotting, heart arrhythmia changes and weight gain. Everyone reacts differently though. I know people who it helped. They didn't have migraines, didn't cramp, ect.

I had zoladex 3.6 for 6 months and been off it for 2 months. It was like having real menopause.... The mood swings, emotions, hot flushes, night sweating a d everything. It was a waste of time as ut just agitated my endo and made it worse. Hope it goes well for you.
