I just came from the doctors and asked about getting the Lupron injections. I know I feel like I may be jumping the gun after only having my first period post surgery, but I just feel like I am SO over taking pills (after being on them for 10 years) and the pain was shocking. He said to wait until my next period (which won’t be for another 3 months from now) until fully deciding if Lupron is the way to go. Fair enough. I been on Lupron injection since 4/19/19. My experience has been pretty well I have yet to have a period and I have no hot flashes no anxiety no depression no dry vagina or any side effects. I go for my next injection this Wednesday we shall see what happens next but I am happy with my decision to go on lupron.
Have you tried “Daysee” birth control? You get a period once every 3 months. I know you said you are tired of taking pills but Lupron might be a little too strong on your body. My bones started to hurt so much while I was on Lupron. Especially my arms. There was a point when I couldn’t sleep from the pain. Plus hot flashes and anxiety.
I had 3 Lupron shots (one shot each month for 3 months). My hot flashes were the worst ☹️ I believe my anxiety level went up as well. What kind of pills are you on now?
Ive also tried the Lupron shots and it didn't help me at all. I think I were more irritated. While on lupron I got a huge cyst almost the size of a golf ball under my skin between my legs and that was enough for me to quit after 9 doses. I've been trying to get pregnant for years now n nothing and I'm about to give up.
I had the Lupron shot three doses over 9 months. The heat flashes were the worst part for me and it didn’t help me much just had bad side effects. Everyone’s body is different though and I truly hope you get some relief! Hope this helps!
