How many incisions did you guys have with laroscopy. I'm kinda surprised that I woke up with 3. Is this normal or did they do something else, I know they discussed cystoscopy

Members reassured someone who woke up with three incisions after laparoscopy that this is completely normal, with most sharing they had between two and seven incisions depending on the complexity of their procedure and the location of cysts or endometriosis. Several members described their own incision patterns, typically including the belly button, sides of the abdomen, and hairline or pelvic area, with some noting that more extensive surgeries like hysterectomies required additional access points. A recurring theme was the intense itching many experienced during healing, with multiple members identifying allergic reactions to surgical adhesives as the culprit and recommending having this added to medical records to prevent future discomfort.

Yep, it's down to the type of adhesive in the dressings, I had the same issue. My sister too! My belly button has a round 'halo' of scaring. Get adhesive dressing and plaster allergy added to your record. You have enough to worry about without burning and itching wounds. x ♡R

That is normal. Everyone is different I had five incisions: one at my belly button, two on left mid and lower abdomen, and two on the right mid and lower abdomen. Hope you have a smooth recovery. 🙂

My first was three, bellybutton and each side, my second was 4. Each side, belly button and below the belly. Three sounds about right for access either side and your belly incision for scope, gas etc. Hope you heal up quickly. Sounds like you're bouncing back from the general quickly!
