Just wondering how many holes do you often come out with compared to what you are told will happen. Also whats the recovery timings xx
I had laparoscopic surgery done twice. The recovery time depends on how invasive the surgery is. I was super sore and weak and couldn’t sit up or stand unassisted for a few days. I gradually gained strength and was able to go for walks and do more after about a week. It took more like a month to feel pretty normal.
I had three incisions - one in the belly button and one on either side of my stomach. It felt really good to be free from endo pain! Unfortunately, there is a 50% chance of recurring scar tissue and endo growth. Mine was back within a year each time.
So for me, it was very expensive without long term results.
Ahh thank you hun im a stay at home mom but I feel bad for being out of commission even if itd not in my control lol. I am a little nervous but excited at the same time with hope this could be the final straw to get better and find out the cause of pain xx
Hello, I had one in early February. There were three incisions one near each hip and one in my belly button. They were all very small about an inch or less. As far as the recovery the first week I was pretty miserable and getting back to work was hard but after that things were good! By two weeks post op the incisions had healed and I was in a lot less pain. When I resumed physical activity fully including sex and such I had some pain again.
