Of course! I’m so sorry your doctor was so negligent and didn’t thoroughly explain everything to you and make sure you understood. That’s bad medicine. If your able I might look into finding someone else. You shouldn’t have had to go through the stress of thinking something is wrong when it’s the normal effect of the medicine. You shouldn’t get your period then. I don’t know why you would’ve gotten it in May and June unless you maybe missed a pill or 2. Your doctor really should have explained this to you and I’m so sorry he/she didn’t. But visanne is a synthetic form of the hormone progesterone produced by your ovaries, when it’s time to menstruate your ovaries drop their production of progesterone which is why you get your period. So if you take visanne continuously then your body never experiences that drop in progesterone and thus doesn’t shed the lining and you don’t get your period. Hope that help!
