I would ask if there will be any other docs that are involved in the surgery. Ask what her success rates are as well as how many surgeries like this she does. Ask what she will remove or save based on the circumstances. Ask about follow up care beforehand too (birth control pills, hormone therapy, etc etc.) Its probably better to have a plan in place for afterwards beforehand.

Just ask about what if the surgery is not what you would expect. what is your next option.
